Welcome to this week's edition of the Pullman High School Newsletter! We're excited to share the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged.

THIS WEEKS COLLEGE/ARMED FORCES VISITS (PHS Lunches)
  • Tuesday, December 16th - Therapy Dogs (located in the Community Board Room)
  • Thursday, December 18th - University of Idaho
ALL STUDENTS - STEM IMMERSION PROGRAMS - 9 Saturday afternoons via Zoom starting January 3rd to February 28th.
  • Health Science Immersion Program (H-SIP)
  • Computer Science Immersion Program (C-SIP)
  • Engineering Immersion Program (E-IP)
All programs are free for students who meet the family income qualification for the Free and Reduced lunch program. Go to the website to learn more and to register. Deadline to register is Sunday, December 14th!

ALL STUDENTS

UPDATED TUTORING AVAILABLE IN THE PHS LIBRARY
  • Every Monday and Friday before school with a WSU Math Education Student (will no longer be here on Wednesdays)
  • Wednesday after school with a former Biology and Chemistry Teacher
  • By appointment with current PHS Student - please see Ms. Strongoni for contact info.
SENIORS - NEED TO KNOW!!
  • Transcript Request Form - Seniors it is your responsibility to request transcripts be sent to your colleges of choice. Please use the link to access the online request form. Paper copies are available in the counseling center or by the registrar's office.
  • Senior Website and Google Classroom- lots of info! Be sure to check out the monthly deadlines ahead of time to ensure you have time to complete the applications. Scholarships are added all the time. Look for the quick links on the Senior Website to access them!
  • Do you still need to fill out either the FAFSA or WAFSA?? Be sure to get that done as it allows for you to receive financial aid and be eligible for scholarships through the colleges, etc!!
  • FREE FAFSA Assistance Appointments through STCU (Spokane Teachers Credit Union) - individual appointments available
 

Upcoming Test Dates


ACT - February 14th - Register by January 9th
SAT - March 14th - Register by February 27th

Please remember that you will need to register directly through their websites in order to take these exams. PHS does not host either of these tests.
If you are needing a fee waiver, you will need to come talk with your counselor or Mrs. Deeds in the Counseling Center.
